Touchstone Tuesday – Poem V

Someone once told me
that a proper poem
is to have
within it
a rigid rhyme scheme.

So, I, I, I,
shattered their vase,
around which hung
the decayed petals
of iambic pentameters,
and watched,
as impropriety

crawled out.
