Firestone Friday: Poem XXIII

None of us

thinks “I am evil,”

yet

the world

is full

of the stuff.

      1. Thank you for your encouragement and your powerful insight. It is a moment of enlightenment, isn’t it, when you compare yourself to Christ and realize with trembling reflection that we are evil? What a revolutionary idea!

      2. So true, and yet so many of us refuse to see it and choose to remain blind to that fact. I’ve found that it’s much better and really, easier, to accept my sinfulness, and accept Christ’s grace and mercy, which are so beautiful.
